Dos Paco: I am a journalism grad who fell out of love with the profession. Out of university I got a job as the writer for the Castlegar News. I had the pleasure to work with a great editor, publisher and a great team. The days were long and weeks even longer. I was not a fan of small town living and when I had the chance to get out, I did. I moved back to Vancouver Island were I still reside and have worked as a waiter, concierge at an old folks home, tour guide and currently at UVic. Writing has never come easy to me. This blog is my attempt to get back into the profession I fell in love with as a student. I hope you enjoy my writing. Constructive feedback is appreciated.
